Taco is a big moving, kind, talented gelding who just finished his 2-rein year in 2025. This incredible horse has no quit and is loaded with eye appeal and fun times.

Ground swallowing stops, fluid movement, & awesome spins. He steps up when you ask and, despite a limited show career, is seasoned and ready to rock n roll. Jason puts an impeccable set of manners on everything in our barn - easy to haul, shoe, bathe, saddle, catch, etc. No vices.

He is used as a lesson horse for all levels of RCH & VRH customers. His moves on a cow are smooth and easy to sit. He is catty and quick when needed. He is NP friendly for someone who is confident and loves a well-trained horse. Uncomplicated to prepare and show. He craves being someone’s main ride!

His dam was a very special mare (x Bandera Boonsmal) who we both showed successfully. Her sweet demeanor and kind heart were passed to this very cool gelding.

Taco’s sire is our much-loved former stallion, Bob Hes Quick (x Bet Hesa Cat).

Taco has also spent a considerable amount of time starting colts, working on the ranch, and dragging lots of calves (more than one at a time) at this year’s branding.
